Production Manager
Promotion material for "Seventh Heaven II," a Chicago Jungle Rave. Similar to the original, this project involved crafting a trailer for a DJ event, this time drawing inspiration from the visual aesthetics of JRPGs (Japanese Role-Playing Games). Hosted at one of Chicago's classic venues, Schubas Tavern.
While I remixed a Persona song for it, I oversaw the live event, as well as all of the social media promotion for the project. All assets were made by collaborator Ricky Pacas. This project helped me learn a lot about the fundamentals of visual marketing, the principles of typography, and how to work on a project of this scale.
Working on this project was extremely fun from a design standpoint. Finding the intersection between rave events and video games is something that truly resonated with my character. I believe this project showcases my passion for anything I put my pen to.
I was able to learn what goes into making a flashy flyer and how to market to the electronic fans of Chicago. I gained valuable insight into the Chicago music scene and connected with artists for future work.
