Branding Design
Coffee has been a cornerstone of my experience at the School of the Art Institute, fueling countless creative endeavors. Inspired by my adventures exploring Chicago’s café scene with my partner, I set out to create branding for a fictional coffee brand: CADET COFFEE.
CADET COFFEE combines the allure of space exploration with the warmth of an inviting cup of coffee. Its bold, vibrant packaging is designed to captivate attention, standing out on shelves and evoking a sense of adventure. This project reflects my passion for design and storytelling, blending celestial themes with a product that connects people daily.
The design concept behind CADET COFFEE is refreshingly straightforward, emphasizing a no-frills approach that prioritizes quality and simplicity. I also considered the environments where coffee bags are most commonly found.
While you might find CADET COFFEE on grocery store shelves, it’s equally at home in office spaces, teacher lounges, and hotel lobbies—places where loose coffee bags often reside. The bag’s design doubles as a piece of modern art, adding a vibrant pop of color to any setting and transforming an everyday item into a striking visual element.
